This week I made the first background imagery for my film. I used a consistent colour scheme, with muted shades of blue, purple and pink. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create this image, as I find it a lot simpler to use than ToonBoom. Also Photoshop gives the ability to use a gradient paintbrush. Even though my characters will be flat, I think it looks nice to have a bit of shading.
